The American Opera Project (AOP) will present two songs written in their renowned training program, Composers & the Voice at New York Opera Alliance’s “NYOA Next”, an evening featuring performances from NYOA company productions that will be presented later in NYOperaFest 2022.

You’ll see a mixture of contemporary opera (with some world premieres), 20th Century works and Traditional Canon. Alongside AOP, groups planning to present include Bronx Opera, Collectio Musicorum, dell'Arte Opera Ensemble, Encompass New Opera Theatre, Harlem Opera Theater, Hunter Opera Theater, International Brazilian Opera Company, MORE Opera, Opera Praktikos, Regina Opera, Untitled Theater Company No. 61, and Welltone New Music and more companies TBA.
