Sarah Moulton Faux is Co-President of the Board of Directors of The American Opera Project (AOP). At AOP, she has effectively recruited new board members; created an executive committee, served on the governance committee and helped create a new board manual.  Sarah helped the company navigate the pandemic and leadership transitions; and serves as an effective ambassador for the company in the local community and abroad.

An accomplished soprano and a champion of women composers, Sarah is an America Prize Winner for her debut album “Where Should This Music Be? Songs of Lola Williams” released by New World Records.  She is working on a second album with Grammy award winning Executive Producer Judith Sherman and pianist Konstantin Soukhovetski. Sarah will perform in AOP's Spring 2024 production of "The Climate Opera Project" at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

Sarah writes: "I have been a part of The American Opera Project (AOP) family for over a decade, first as a singer and now as Co-President of the AOP Board of Directors. AOP sets the standard for the development of new operatic works - works that capture the myriad facets of the human experience. Please join me in supporting the future of this transformative art form!"
